John Falino is the Principal and IB Head of School of Dobbs Ferry High School (DFHS) in Westchester County, NY. Mr. Falino was a Bammy Finalist for the High School Principal of the Year in both 2014 and 2015 and is preparing to defend his doctoral dissertation on 1:1 Chromebook programs. He is active on Twitter and presents at local and national conferences on topics such as the IB, 1:1 technology, and social media.

DFHS has been an authorized IB World School since 1998 and offers the prestigious IB Diploma Program to students in grades 11-12. All students at DFHS enroll in at least two of the rigorous IB courses and over 25% pursue the full diploma each year. Mr. Falino and the staff of DFHS are dedicated to providing all students with inquiry-based learning experiences so that they are better prepared for the rigors of the IB Program. This will help to continue to trend of greater student participation and is directly in-line with the school’s philosophy of “IB for all.”
